Mantic is bringing out a Dungeon Crawler featuring its Kings of War miniatures… well, while one might argue that this company is rarely developing something entirely original, it surely knows how to find all those neglected wishes of Players all over this world and go for them… I mean for how many years there haven’t been any more HeroQuest? For how many years there haven’t been new Chaos Dwarves from Games Workshop… I am still unsure about the style of their sculpts, but to their product line I salute for sure!

Still, as a sidenote, even though I am desperately yearning for Chaos Dwarves and a new HeroQuest, I will wait for the final results to become public before I consider placing an order… grown peculiar about that…

Well, not much to show today, had too many other issues to attend to… so it’s just another picture of my activity area.

The Spot's on... some miniatures that should already been done for months!!!Here’s what you see: at the bottom my workplate, then, to the right, two drawers. I keep my colours here. To the left: three boxes. The boxes from “Attack at Skull Pass” and “Assault at Black Reach” actually contain several Sprues I yet have to work into my Bitz Box… the old “Mighty Empires”-Box, of course, contains just that. It is one of my personal favourites, actually and I really hope I will finally get to paint all the miniatures included this year… well, if I come to it, you’ll probably find out very soon via this Blog…

Above this part of the area is some space where I keep the miniatures I am just working on and some other stuff. I use the disposable cups (hailing from quite a number of Ramen noodles-meals) to prepare all parts for a miniature before I assemble them; at the moment they are filled with my “Neophyte-project” – another project I should continue to work on as soon as possible, I guess! You can also perceive my Magnifying Glass. Somehow I never really learned the trick to actually use it like a Pro, like, say, painting while looking at the miniature through it, but I do like to check details or paintjobs with it.

Next comes some 40K-terrain where I want to put some of the really old 40K ruins to good use, and another piece terrain; the latter is actually meant for my workplace, so that in the end I can display my miniatures here with style… but there is still a lot of work to do… at the moment, it displays some of the projects I am just working on, mainly a wild assortment of miniatures from HeroQuest.

To the right side there hangs a little green container where I keep my brushes and knives.

The backdrop for everything is a pinboard I already used when this was my normal desk for work as well. As a result (and because my new desk is in front of a window) it shows not only wargame-related stuff, but also things like a lucky charm and a fine Slayers-drawing from one of my friends.

Sorry, gotta go now… I still have quite a number of photos left, I suppose I will post and comment them during the next days…

Have a good week!
